Education in Malaysia is broadly consists of a set of stages which include: ? Preschool ? Primary education ? Secondary education ? Tertiary education ? Postgraduate Only Primary Education in Malaysia is mandated by law, hence it is not a criminal offe-nce to neglect the educational needs of a child after six years of Primary Education.

Primary and Secondary education in government schools are handled by the Ministry of Education, but policies regarding tertiary education are handled by the Ministry of Higher Education, created in 2004.

Various Programs: B.Sc (Hons) - Information Technology; Computer Games Development; Web Media Technology.

BA (Hons) Business Management; Marketing Management/Human Resource Management; Accounting and Finance/Services Management.

B.Eng (Hons): Electrical & Electronic Engg/Electronic Engg with IT; Telecommunication Engineering; Mecha-tronic Engineering and many more.

Admission Requirements:

The general academic requirements for admission into undergraduate degree programmes is as follows: Senior High School/Senior Secondary School/Other Certificates from the government schools (with the period of at least 11 to 12 years of study from Primary to Higher Secondary). Applicants from countries which require them to pass the university entrance examination have to submit the result of this examination together with their applications forms; OR

GCE 'A' Level examination obtained at one sitting; OR

Any other certificate that is recognised by the Senate of the University as equivalent to the above.

English and Bahasa Malaysia are the two primary languages used for instruction in the University, depending on the specific programme of study. Applicants wishing to pursue their studies in programmes with English as a medium of instruction must;

Pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

Pass the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (OR)

Pass the Malaysian University English Language Test (MUET).

Applicants who are unable to submit satisfactory results in any of the above tests may take up language proficiency courses at the University to fulfil the admission requirements.
