Applications are invited for award of the following temporary Research Fellowships as per UGC rule under Centre of Advanced Study in Botany, Banaras Hindu University. Applications should be made on plain paper sating full name, date of birth, address, qualifications, experience etc., and should be accoimpanied by reprints of published papers, attested copies of certificates and mark-sheets in support of qualifications and age. Applications should reach the Head, Department of Botany, banaras Hindu University, Varanasi – 221 005 within 21 days of the publication of advertisement.

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS – 4 (four)- Rs.8000 p.m.(fixed)

To work in areas of Ecology/Algology/Mycology & Plant Pathology. The age of JRF should not exceed 28 years and is relaxable for 5 years for women and SC/ST candidates will be considered as per G.O.I. rules.

Essential Qualifications :

(i) Candidate must have qualified U.G.C./C.S.I.R/NET or GATE tests.

(ii) A high second calss (55%) M.Sc., degree in Botany with a uniformly good academic career.

No TA /DA willbe paid to candidates if called for interview
