Anna C. and Oliver C. Colburn Fellowship
Purpose: Bi-annual award to support doctoral candidates and postdoctoral scholars, for one year of study at the ASCSA as a student associate member or senior associate member. The Archaeological Institute of America awards the fellowship.
Field of Study: Classical studies and ancient Mediterranean studies, including history of art, anthropology, prehistory, studies in post-classical Greece, etc.
Eligibility: Citizens and permanent residents of the U.S. and Canada. Doctoral candidates who have completed all degree requirements except for the dissertation and scholars who have received the Ph.D. degree within the past 5 years. Applicants must be accepted for ASCSA membership in order to be eligible to hold the fellowship.
Award: Stipend of $11,000.
