About Airports Authority of India – AAI Sports Scholarships Scheme 2023-24
SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR OUTSTANDING SPORTSPERSONS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2023-24
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this scheme is to award Airports Authority of India (AAI) Sports Scholarships to promising young players with a view to enhancing sporting standards in AAI as also encouraging young talent.
AGE GROUP
The Scholarship will be available to the sports persons between the age group of 14 to 24 as on 31.03.2023
NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS
The number of scholarships will not exceed 42 for open category and 08 for Wards of employees of Airports Authority of India for the year 2023-24
AMOUNT OP SCHOLARSHIP
The amount of scholarships to be granted to the awardees will be as under: –
Age Group – Amount of Scholarship per month
Over 14 years and under 18 years = Rs. 12,000/- per month.
Over 18 years = Rs. 16,000/-per month
DURATION OF SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship will be given for a period of one year.
SELECTION
All applications received within the stipulated time shall be considered by a committee duly constituted by the President, Airports Authority of India Sports Control Board. Cases of talented sports persons who are not students may also be taken into consideration for award of scholarships subject to their meeting all requirements and verification/certification by the Secretary of the concerned State Federation/National Federation. Cases of special merit not covered under the above conditions may be considered with the approval of Chairman, AAI.
APPLICATIONS
The duly completed & signed application should be sent in prescribed format along with requisite enclosures in an envelope (13.5 x 9.5 inches) which should be super scribed in bold letter with “AAI SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2023-24” on the top left corner of outer envelope to the under mentioned address so as to reach latest by 15th March 2023 : –

Namaste sir,
I am Shanmukhi Naga Sai Budde from Andhra Pradesh. I am 17 year old. I am an archery player and national games medalist in 36th national games. And school games 2023 under 19 medalist and 2024 sub junior national championship medalist. I love archery sir but my parents are not able to support me because I am from a lower middle class family. This year I have 25 competitions sir for every competition we should only keep all expenses my parents are not abling to afford sir in this year in january sub junior national championship is held at chattisgarh raipur I got individual, team, and mixed medals please help me sir. In every competition I am getting placed in the top 10 sir. Please help me sir with my archery career . I want to play and fulfill my dreams sir but I am not able to because of our financial problems. I want to represent our country internationally and I want to bring medals for our country. Please help me to Scholarship. Please help me sir. ????
