NATIONAL MST RADAR FACILITY(NMRF) IS A CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCE AND FRONTLINE RESEARCH IN THE AREA OF ATMOSPHERIC PHYSICS IS BEING CARRIED OUT AND PROVIDES CHALLENGING OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUNG SCIENTIST/ ENGINEERS. APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR RECRUITING SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT-B, JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS AND PROJECT ENGINEERS AS MENTIONED BELOW.

No.of Posts: 03 (Three) (02 existing and 01 anticipated)
Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc., in Physics/Atmospheric Physics/Space Physics/Meteorology or M.Tech., in Atmospheric Science. Those who are appeared for the final year exams can also apply. Preference will be given to the candidates , who are qualified in UGC-NET/GATE examinations.
Age Limit: Below 30 years as on 30.06.2004. SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible for age eligible for age relaxation as per Central Government Rules.
Tenure: The maximum period of Research Fellowship will be four years. The Research Fellows will be encouraged to register for Ph.D Degree.
Fellowship Amount: For the first two years Rs.8000/- p.m. for Post Graduate Degree holders in Scientific disciplines and Rs.9500/- p.m. for Post Graduated Degree holders in Engineering/Technology with two years experience in the relevant field. This will be reviewed after two years with enhanced fellowship of Rs.9000/- p.m. and Rs.10000/-p.m respectively. HRA is admissible as per Central Government Rules.
